The Problem

Have you ever walked into a room and suddenly felt ... different?

Or, have your ever met someone and immediately felt comfortable around them, or suddenly felt uneasy, without knowing why?

What if you're more sensitive to the people and energy around you than you realize?

But you don't know what to do with it all.

You feel drained. Overemotional. Depressed. Uneasy. Or even numb.

But you don't know why.

Inside this book, you’ll explore:

✦ How to understand what you're feeling and learn what to do with it.
✦ How emotional experiences can create blocks that affect how you feel and perceive the world
✦ Ways to become more aware of your own energy and emotions
✦ How to tune into others without losing yourself in their emotions
✦ The connection between the subconscious, healing and spiritual awareness
✦ Practical exercises for developing your own spiritual abilities
✦ How empathy and sensitivity can change as you do your own inner work
✦ Ginger’s personal experiences, discoveries and lessons along the way.

The book is organized as a journey—from understanding yourself and your own blocks to learning how to tune into others and explore your spiritual abilities.

You don’t have to be sure. You just have to be curious. Read the book. Try the exercises. Decide for yourself what resonates.

The Truth About Why You're Still Stuck

The belief goes like this: some people are simply born with it. Mediums, intuitives, the ones who just know things. You either got the gift or you didn't, and no amount of effort changes the assignment.

It seems reasonable. We say the same thing about Mozart and Da Vinci, about Prince and Robin Williams, as if talent arrived fully formed.

Except Van Gogh started drawing later in life and taught himself. Stephen King collected rejection letters before he became Stephen King. And Ginger was 48 when any of this began opening up for her, starting from what felt like practically nothing.

She calls it a gift out of habit. She believes it is closer to an ability, because of the hours she put into it.

Why Traditional Approaches Keep You Trapped

Most spiritual instruction hands you a practice and skips the clearing. Sit still. Empty your mind. Wait.

Meditation is lovely, and Ginger says so plainly. It simply wasn't the whole story for her. Sitting quietly with an empty mind did not teach her to perceive anything. She had to consciously connect with another person's energy field, allow images in, and let her body feel unfamiliar things.

There is another reason the usual route stalls. Think of the hollow chamber of a guitar. It only rings because it is empty. Pack it with tar and trash and the same strings produce a muffled, hollow sound.

You can practice technique all day on a packed instrument. The clearing has to come first.

See, I Was Just Like You...

For years, Ginger was obsessed with the end of the world. She told everyone it didn't bother her. It bothered her. Then Covid arrived and the fear she had been storing had somewhere to grow.

She grew up one of sixteen children. Loved, and still often invisible. Her song as a little girl was "Nobody Likes Me." She raised children while carrying every unhealed thing she had never had words for.

Then during a sound bath, she started shaking and crying. A vision opened: relatives lined up in period clothing, her grandfather in front, bright blue eyes fixed on her. "We will always be with you."

The realization came later and changed the whole direction of her life: the abilities were not being handed to her that day. The density had simply moved, and something underneath it had been there the entire time.

Clearing isn't a mood. It's a subtraction.

The Clearing Revolution

You are the guitar. Nobody adds resonance to a guitar. They take out what was stuffed inside it, and the sound that was always possible finally has room to move.

That is what Ginger watched happen over and over on phone calls. Remove the stored gunk and the emotional walls, and people begin to heal. Then, one by one, the receptors come back on. They start noticing what they are picking up. They start receiving.

Heal Yourself First, Then Help Others

That's the whole arc of the book, and it's the order Ginger insists on, because trying to read someone else while your own field is packed is like tuning an instrument in a room full of noise.

You will not be asked to believe anything. You will be asked to try things, notice what happens, and keep what is true for you. As Ginger was told in prayer when she wondered where she fit: "Ginger, don't try to fit because you know it won't work for you all the way. Just be yourself and let others do the same."

That permission runs through every page. Start where you are.

The Stages the Book Walks You Through

Nine stages, in the order Ginger teaches them.

01
Getting Started
Setting a clear purpose and intention, and accepting that this develops the way any real skill develops, with time and patience.
02
Using Different Lenses
Taking the good from religion, science and spirituality instead of being forced to pick a team.
03
The Spirit World Right Here
Energy fields, biofields, and why a medium is a channel the way paint is an artist's medium.
04
Things to Know Before You Start
Shielding, why you shouldn't casually enter anyone's energy, and how to tell a feeling isn't yours.
05
It Starts With You
The body scan, head to feet, and the practice of speaking to the parts of you that have been aching for attention.
06
Tuning Into Others
Permission from the higher self, stretching your field to meet theirs, and reading the symbols that come.
07
Becoming More Empathetic
Why sensitivity grows on its own once the density lifts, and why that turns out to be a gift and not a burden.
08
The Energetic Cords
Cords like garden hoses, the yellow one wrapped around the belly, daggers in the back, and how they come off.
09
The Subconscious
The symbolic stairs, the count from ten to one, and what to do with the images waiting at the bottom.

What Others Are Saying

"“They helped me realize from an outside perspective, looking into my subconscious, things in my life that I wasn’t acknowledging, and deeper perspectives on why I feel a certain way or why someone feels a certain way about me.”"

— Taylee

"“That’s so crazy that you say that. I just bought a bunch of omega-3s the other day and they only just arrived. It helps me know I’m on the right path.”"

— Serena

"“I couldn’t believe you caught that. My elbow had been killing me.”"

— Missy, who had been worrying about her relationship for days

Proven Results

A woman Ginger worked with entered her energy field, walked down the stairs of her subconscious, and described things she had no way of knowing. Ginger's parents' relationship. The color of Ginger's father's hair.

She went on to develop her own way of doing the work. That is the whole thesis of the book, standing up on its own two feet.

More Stories From the Sessions

Deedee, who had been aching to hear from her late husband. He came through with the false teeth, the truck, the dress he couldn’t wait to see her in again. Afterward she began to regain her will to live.

McKinly, who saw the daughter she had lost described to her in detail. That was where her healing began.

Is This Right For You?

This is not for those who —
  • Want the density lifted without ever looking at what put it there.
  • Need everything measured in a lab before it counts.
  • Are hoping to be handed a gift rather than develop one.
  • Would rather rescue everyone else than tend to their own field first.
This is for —
  • The woman who has always been a little drawn to the ones who "just know things," and quietly wondered.
  • The woman who has done therapy or medication or both, found some of it useful and some of it not, and senses there is another layer.
  • The woman who would like to feel lighter first, and see what opens after.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this just another book about opening your third eye?
No. Most of it is about clearing first. The perceiving comes later, and it comes more easily once there is room.
Do I need any experience with energy work?
None. Ginger didn't know what an energy field was when her sister first mentioned it. She was going to sound baths simply because they helped her relax.
How long does this take?
The book doesn't promise a timeline, and Ginger won't either. What she promises is that if you take the journey, you'll either become more spiritually attuned or at the very least more informed on the subject. Her own path took consistent daily practice, usually in the early morning while the house was asleep.
Does this conflict with my faith?
Ginger takes the good from religion, science and spirituality, and leans on prayer, on angels, and on Jesus throughout the work. She also invites you to filter everything through your own discernment and keep only what feels safe and true to you.
What if I'm an introvert?
Ginger gets nervous making eye contact. She built her entire practice over the phone because that felt comfortable. The book asks you to find your own natural setting rather than force yourself into someone else's.
What if I read it and decide I'd rather have help?
Then you're warmly welcome to reach out and have a conversation about your own subconscious blocks. No pressure either way.

Ginger Chamberlain.

Ginger Chamberlain is an intuitive practitioner, educator and author. Before this work began, she earned a college degree and worked as a teacher, where she learned that every person learns differently and that complicated ideas can be broken into simple steps. She uses those same teaching instincts on every page.

She grew up in a family of sixteen children, spent years carrying more than she knew she was carrying, and had her opening at 48 on a sound bed in her sister's care. She works over the phone, because that is what feels natural and safe to her.

Her aim isn't to convince you what to believe. It's to hand you tools, and let you find out what resonates. You can find her at healingwithginger.com, and you are welcome to reach out with questions any time.
